John Douglas closed his recent special guest slot set at FRETS with Norman Blake, Bernard Butler & James Grant with a solo performance of his group The Trashcan Sinatras’ ‘Weightlifting’. It’s such a mighty song, John also performed ‘Bonny’ by Prefab Sprout in his set along with songs from his Trashcan Sinatras’ catalogue.

Hi, John Douglas’ set was fab at the BB&G gig, but his Prefab Sprout cover was We Let The stars Go, not Bonny. Although it was very Bonny indeed!
