Thanks to everyone who came along to the first FRETS concerts of 2023 with Grant-Lee Phillips on 20th Jan and The Twilight Sad last night (26th Jan) – both concerts at the Strathaven Hotel. FRETS was at capacity both nights, and in keeping with our eclectic booking policy brought in many first-time attendees at FRETS.
The next FRETS concerts is another sold out event we’ve curated for Celtic Connections and will take place at the CCA (Glasgow) on Saturday 4th Feb. The concert features a panel (Fun N’Frenzy) at 6pm followed by a performance by Restricted Code at 7.30pm. Thereafter we have two sets by The Hungry Beat Group featuring songs associated with the Fast Product/pop:aural/Postcard Records period and the birth of independent music in Scotland.
