
The Kingfishers will be opening proceedings when James Yorkston appears in concert at FRETS on 21st April in the Strathaven Hotel. BBC Radio Scotland presenter Vic Galloway is compere for the evening and will start the night just after at doors at 7pm with an interview with Douglas MacIntyre about his Hungry Beat book covering the post-punk environs of Scotland circa 1977-84 and the Fast Product and Postcard independent record labels. Douglas and Stuart Kidd will then perform a short Kingfishers set of songs released by the Fast Product and Postcard labels.
