If you are attending FRETS for the first time to see Hipsway this weekend (Fri 26th / Sat 27th), here are how things are laid out at the Strathaven Hotel. Doors are at 7pm, there is usually a queue as it’s first come first seated (it’s an all-seated acoustic concert). The live music starts just after doors with The Youngs getting proceedings going, followed by Monica Queen, with Hipsway on stage at 9pm.
People usually take their seats at 7pm and there is a bar at the FRETS room. The artists and the audience welcome the listening vibe of FRETS concerts, so your silence during the performances is appreciated. If you’d prefer to have a chat with your friends there is a main bar through in the hotel (there is also time between the groups’ performances). The concerts usually finish around 10.30pm, but the main hotel bar is open late if you want to have a drink/chat.
The Hipsway concerts are sold out, however some people are unable to attend and are selling their tickets at face value (details on this website) or through our Facebook and Twitter pages. If you are interested in buying a ticket from someone join our mailing list at www.fretsconcerts.com Go to the Blog section and there are contact details for people selling their tickets.
It’s going to be a cracker, looking forward to seeing you all.
Good Morning
I have purchased 4 tickets for Hipsway on Friday Night , unfortunately 1 couple cannot manage, is it possible to swap 2 tickets for the Saturday night or alternatively sell 2 tickets for the Friday Night
Many Thanks Regards Pauline
