FRETS has another concert excursion to Glasgow when The Secret Goldfish launch their new album Empty Holster at the Glad Cafe this Saturday 21st June.

The Secret Goldfish will have Orange Juice guitarist James Kirk in their ranks for the concert (James will also be performing a set of his own songs). The Cords are currently the hottest indie group in Scotland and have recently completed a UK tour as special guests of Camera Obscura.
The evening will open with BBC Radio Scotland’s Nicola Meighan interviewing Katy Lironi about 30 years of releasing music with the Secret Goldfish and her recent book, Matilda in the Middle. Nicola will also chat with Douglas about his decision to close down Creeping Bent after 30 years and his forthcoming book, Creeping Bent: A Leap Into The Void.
