Here’s some archive footage of Norman Blake singing the Beach Boys classic, Breakaway (with David Scott on keyboards). There aren’t many tickets left for Norman’s acoustic concert at FRETS this Saturday 19th Oct in the Strathaven Hotel, David Scott will be playing the opening set, and rumours abound that they’ll do some songs together.
Norman will be performing songs from his Teenage Fanclub back catalogue whilst David will open the night with a set of songs by the Pearlfishers.
