wojtek the bear were formed in Glasgow in early 2016 and have been featured extensively by BBC 6Music, BBC Radio Scotland, Radio X and KEXP.
They have featured at numerous festivals across the UK and Europe and appeared at Belle & Sebastian’s Boaty Weekender festival in Barcelona in 2019 alongside the likes of Teenage Fanclub, Mogwai, Yo La Tengo & Camera Obscura.
In 2024 they released their latest record, “shaking hands with the NME” on the Last Night From Glasgow label. The album was recorded with legendary producer Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur, New Order) and received widespread positive reviews .
