QUAD90 – Debates Chamber, Glasgow University Union

QUAD90 will be in concert at the Debates Chamber, Glasgow University Union on Saturday 28th September. QUAD90 are Amelia Lironi and Naomi Mackay who met at Riverside Music College, starting the group as part of their University course. The group signed to the Last Night From Glasgow label and have released 4 singles, each one was given a premiere and substantial play on BBC 6Music. Amelia and Naomi were interviewed by Janice Forsyth on BBC Radio Scotland then they chose the 2nd QUAD90 single – Unequal Division – as their Record of the Week.

QUAD90 are influenced by Ze Records, Chic, Factory Records, Martin Hannett, and are currently finishing off their debut album in Green Door studio in Glasgow with producer Samuel Joseph Smith. Here’s a link to their debut single, Le Blank, which was Record of the Week on BBC 6Music.
