FRETS is delighted to welcome Belle and Sebastian’s Stevie Jackson to the Strathaven Hotel next Friday 3rd Nov for an exclusive solo acoustic concert. Stevie will be on stage shortly after doors at 7pm, followed by Eugene Kelly (Kurt Cobain’s favourite songwriter).
Nirvana covered and recorded songs written by Eugene Kelly when he fronted the Vaselines. Eugene has recently released an incredible solo LP (Man Alive) on the Last Night From Glasgow label.
The headliner is Callum Easter, who has just returned from a US tour where he was special guest of Young Fathers. Callum was also invited by Noel Gallagher to open for him during his summer UK concerts (around the same time as Callum’s set at the Glastonbury Festival was televised live on BBC).
It’ll be the final FRETS concert of 2023 at the Strathaven Hotel and will be a great night out.
